Rapid Strep Test

What is Group A Streptococcus (GAS)?
The bacteria Streptococcus pyogenes, also known as group A beta-hemolytic streptococcus or group A streptococcus (GAS), can cause many different infections. Some of these are common, relatively minor infections, like strep throat. Others are less common, but very serious and even deadly. People can easily spread group A strep to other people. Practicing good hygiene, like washing your hands often, is the best way to protect yourself from group A strep infections.
Group A strep can cause Strep Throat, Scarlet Fever, Impetigo, Cellulitis, Rheumatic Fever, and much more. It is important to get tested to make sure your symptoms are not caused by this bacterium as if it goes untreated, it can potentially be deadly.
You will get a comprehensive evaluation and testing for this bacterium at the comfort of your home.
